VS SHAMISEN is a shamisen instrument for KONTAKT.
Contains sustain, hammering on, pulling off, soft legato sounds, fret noises, pick scratch sounds, up sounds, down sounds, and body hitting sounds.
You can also use power chords, octaves, majors, minors, and other chords.
Equipped with a VSAS2 engine designed for acoustic stringed instruments, it automatically selects noise and mute associated with performance in appropriate situations.
You can switch between the [Instrument] mode, which mutes the preceding notes on the same string, and the [Keyboard] mode, which allows you to play like a piano, just like a real shamisen. It is equipped with many other functions such as a function for changing the number of strings and a function for tuning each string.
Equipped with more than 30 types of effects, each parameter of the effect can be operated by controlling control by specifying the operation range.

The SFZ version of the instrument has been added so that even those who do not have KONTAKT can use it.
This SFZ file is a dedicated file for the free sampler sforzando distributed on Plogue. Please read it with sforzando and use it.
The SFZ version does not have as many functions as the KONTAKT version. Only solo mode and polyphonic mode can be used.
Equipped with round robin (4), legato function, position selection (0,3,5,7,9,12,15,17fret) function, and main string selection (1,2,3str) function.
Instrument.sfz stops the preceding notes of the same string like a recorded instrument, and Keyboard.sfz allows simultaneous pronunciation like a piano.
The KONTAKT version's bonus 5-string tone cannot be used.
